We understand your frustration. Let us explain.
Multiplayer requires a live connection from all participants, and your connection may be faster than your opponent's, or vice versa.
We ensure fair play, where the driver with the faster car wins the competition, not the one with the fastest connection. While it may have looked like you won, our game server receives the race times from both players and presents you with the actual final result, which is accurate and correct.
The game server then compares your race results and determines a winner.
Because we want you to be able to race players from all over the world, our matchmaking system will sometimes pair two players who have different connection speeds. While this may be frustrating at first, please remember that some of your opponents will have the same experience when they race you.
We want to ensure fair play, where the racer with the faster car wins the competition, not the racer with the fastest connection.
